Jancis Robinson; 16.5+
Deepish crimson. A little sweeter smelling than the Raviolles, with a touch of vanilla oak. This is gentle and rounded on the palate and still has fruit depth and a long fresh finish. Very good harmony and persistence and although the tannins are smooth, it will benefit from bottle age.

Robert Parker doesnt have a note on the 2016, but the inferior vintage 2017 is reviewed at 90 points and thus:
The 2017 Vosne-Romanée Aux Ormes is showing brilliantly, wafting from the glass with a bouquet of dark berry fruit, plums, dark chocolate and spices that's complemented by inviting savory, sapid nuances. Medium to full-bodied, supple and satiny, its ample core of fleshy fruit is framed by melting tannins and succulent acids. This is an immensely charming wine from Cacheux that's already drinking well.

I've had 3 of the 12 I bought and thoroughly enjoyed them; fleshy and fairly full-bodied for a Burgundy.
