Very rare 2001 Rioja Vina Tondonia Matador Parreno Edition.

Comes with a certificate of authenticity & a letter from the winery.

Unopened case of 3 bottles of this very rare Rioja, in stunning condition.
This wine is completely sold out & can only be found in some of the most exclusive restaurants in Spain.
A special edition for the art magazine "Matador" in Spain. The magazine sourced & bottled a one-off special vintage & dressed it with a label created by French artist Phillippe Parreno. Only 3000 bottles of this very unique edition were released.
Robert Parker: Here we have a unique wine that will be difficult to find outside of Spain, but it's a wine that is well worth seeking out & one that made my heart beat faster. The texture is velvety, with resolved tannins, great concentration, finesse & elegance, with incredible balance & an aftertaste full of exotic spices, orange peel, tabacco & ripe berry fruit. The flavours linger in your mouth forever after you swallow. Take this as a unique, one-off, super Gran Reserva from Vina Tondonia. Whilst this is very drinkable now, it has all that it takes for a long life in the bottle. This should outlive most of us. 100 points.
