Description

Wonderful old bottle. Genuine treasure.

This is one of 3 bottles I'm selling (you'll find a Bolly '47 and a DP '51 in separate auctions) from a collection that was bought back to the UK from the Sates in 1950s by an industrious steward in the QE2 capitalising on the incredibly favourable exchange rate at the time.

Full disclosure: I've not tried any bottles from the collection yet, as I usually like to do before listing on BFW. so on this occasion I can't offer you any comfort about the contents. Obviously, these are VERY ancient bottles. The level on this one is lower than the other two, and wine appears to be darker. So I guess it's the one I'm least confident about.


But if it is still alive, then it should be an extraordinary experience drinking it. Bonne chance!
