I dont know a lot about this item, have found some information on the internet and apart from a minature bottle for sale in Australia (approx £50)and some empty bottles on Ebay cannot find another full bottle for sale anywhere. On the label it has P B Burgoyne @ Co Ltd Empire Wine Growers...Australia,South Africa and London.....A generous wine of absolute purity the produce of our Empires Vineyards there is a label near the bottom of the bottle which states...imported abd distributed under the authority of HM Government Agreed Maximum prices: for sale by retail 12/3 per flagon (flagon 3d extra returnable)in Hotels @ Restaurants (for consumption on the premices) 17/6 per Flagon


I dont know the age of this bottle but it is obviously very old, the fill level is excellent still into capsule which has a small knick and a bit dusty, the main label is in very good condition, not sure what it will taste like but hey...who knows.

I HAVE STATED THAT THE BOTTLE SIZE IS 500ML IN THIS LISTING AS i CANNOT GET IT TO REGISTER A FLAGON, I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT A FLAGON IS IN MEASUREMENT TERMS BUT IS QUITE A GOOD SIZED BOTTTLE MEASURING APPROX 9 INCHES HIGH BY APPROX 6 INCHES WIDE AND APPROX 3 INCHES DEEP...ANY QUESTIONS OR IF YOU CAN PROVIDE ME WITH MORE INFORMATION PLEASE EMAIL ME PETERLANDSCAPES@AOL.COM MANY THANKS
