Description

3 bottles of this well regarded single vineyard wine from the excellent 2014 vintage. Les Tillets, high on the slope, produces wine with a racy, mineral style - the below comes from the producer s web-site:

"The wine has a characteristic bouquet with overtones of white flowers, white and yellow fruit and a slight spicy note, on the whole complex and very elegant; in the mouth it is full- bodied, vigorous and mineral with a fine aromatic freshness. A delicate wine it has a long finish and a certain underlying robustness and its style may be described as between a classic Meursault and a typical Puligny-Montrachet."

Tasting Note from Neal Martin (Wine Advocate):

The 2014 Meursault Les Tillets has a very perfumed nose with lime flower, citrus fruit and cold limestone scents that possess more vigour than Javiller s other 2014s. The palate is fresh and vibrant with a citric thread of acidity. Plenty of energy here, quite linear at the moment, but there is commendable precision on the malic finish that leaves the mouth fresh and wanting more" 92 points (July 2016).

The wine was purchased in bond and has been stored in my spiral cellar since delivery. The bottles are in excellent condition with very good fill levels (see photographs).
