Description

An exceptional trio of Rielsings.
The first, as listed in title, is the JJ Prum Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese 1983. (Madame Prum's favourite vintage in recent decades).
The second wine is Erbacher Macrobrunn Riesling, Rheingau Qualitatswein 1971.
The third wine is Wiltinger Braune Kupp, Egon Muller, Mosel-Saar-Ruwer Riesling Auslese, Le Gallais 1983.
The wines have been inherited from the cellar of a former MD of Corney & Barrow who was a Riesling collector. Since acqusition, all have been stored in a professional wine fridge at 13 degress.
The neck level is impressive on all three, with the Wiltinger well into the neck . Some wear and tear to the labels, but no more than to be expected for the vintage. At 50 years old, the 1971 is certainly looking impressive!
