Description

One bottle of this wine, being the bottle shown in the photographs, bought from the Wine Society in 2007. It has been properly cellared since purchase. The label is in decent condition and the level is into the neck. The capsule appears to me to be in good order.

Seemingly available currently only in Hong Kong for just short of £500.

Allen Meadows - Burghound- "Aromas of crushed red fruits, especially raspberries combine with sweet, refined and precise flavors laced with pronounced minerality. There is a lovely complexity that appears with a rush on the long finish. A stylish middle weight ..."(1/2003).

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar-"Medium red. Cherry, chocolate, game and earth on the nose, along with a whiff of roasted herbs. Rich and syrupy-sweet in the mouth, with hints of roasted torrefaction. A rather suave wine, finishing with fine tannins and notes of chocolate and roasted oak." (4/2003) .
