Description

2nd wine of First Growth Ch. Haut Brion in a legendary vintage. I'm selling a total of 10 bottles, listed in five auctions of 2 bottles each. The condition of the labels varies, so I'll even them out for postage - you'll receive either two average labels, or one of the best ones with one of worst. You can see all 10 bottles in pics 2 & 3.

The bottles came from a very large collection that were stored in the correct conditions (underground cellar) but often stacked together in crates rather than in racks. Consequently many of the labels were stained or damaged. These particular bottles also have very grubby capsules on one side (hence the colour variation you can see in the pics - the position of the staining depends on how they were laying).

But the levels are incredible - well into the neck. And the corks feel wonderfully firm and flat. Indeed, I've drunk umpteen bottles from the collection, and can confirm that the contents have without fail been perfect.
