Description

Six bottles of this much loved Margaux wine. This was purchased from TWS en-primeur offer and has been stored with them since. This from their initial offer:

“The five Sichel brothers were in tremendous form when they showed off to members ten past vintages to celebrate their parent’s purchase of Angludet 50 years ago. No wonder, because their 2010 vintage is a cracker, full of ripe fruit, freshness and elegance too and the stuffing to last as well as the gorgeous 1983. 2017–2030.”

And this from Jancis Robinson:

The 2010 Ch d Angludet is exceptionally dark. Sweet liquorice notes – very pronounced! Smooth and polished with lots of tannin underneath. Some floral notes too. Cool, dry finish. Very interesting, well-mannered wine. Just a very slight lack of freshness but really that is nit-picking. 17/20.
