Description

A beautiful antique bottle, perhaps even a beautiful old wine.
No bottle size given but this appears to be around 500ml.

The label:
shows a few damp stains but is remarkable intact.

The foil:
shows a few tiny nicks but is in good condition for being nearly 100 years old.

The wire musette:
is a touch corroded where it has been exposed to air.

The glass:
is pale green and contrasts against an amber coloured wine inside it.

The ullage level:
is hard to gauge as the fill extends above the foil. Inverting the bottle reveals around a 1cm ullage at the base as well as a small amount of very fine sediment. I've put 4.5cm which seems about right.
